Bulk listing
Bulk listing is the practice of creating many marketplace listings in a single operation rather than one at a time, typically through CSV upload, template duplication, or batch processing of inventory photos.
The three approaches suit different inventory. CSV upload is fast when structured data already exists. Template duplication excels for near-identical items. Batch photo processing is the only approach that handles mixed inventory well, because each item's category and specifics are derived from its own image.
The failure mode of bulk listing is uniform error: the wrong category, condition, or shipping profile applied to a hundred items at once. Pre-publish validation and a spot-check of each batch are what keep quality from degrading as counts rise.
Bulk revisions matter as much as bulk creation. Repricing or re-describing a catalogue should update the existing eBay listings rather than creating duplicates.
