what: Wildwood Days Car Cruise-If you have a classic car this is the perfect opportunity to show it off. Join or watch the over 100 cars in this cruise. After the cruise park and BBQ with us in front of DJ’s Burger Bar. Menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni & potato salad, green salad, water melon, chips and a beverage. All for only $8. Stay and enjoy the music until 8pm with Swingin’ Country Band (country from Humboldt)

what: the Westhaven Volunteer Fire Department and the Ladies Club present the 51st Annual Westhaven Wild Blackberry Festival featuring blackberry jelly, jam, and pies. Sales of fresh blackberry pies, jams, barbecued hamburgers and beverages benefit the WVFD. There will be music, booths and goodwill in abundance. No pets, please. WCA will sponsor a Flea Market from 10am to 4pm

what: 6th Annual Thrill of the Grill with live music by Blue Rhythm Revue (soul, funk from Eureka). Food for People and the Eureka North Coast Co-op team up for the 6th annual Thrill of the Grill lunchtime fundraiser. The Co-op staff will be grilling hamburgers, links, and tofu burgers plus providing chips and choice of drink all for just $5. All of the proceeds from this event go to support Food for People’s child nutrition programs including after school snacks, backpacks for kids and children’s summer lunch programs
