what: The 3rd Annual Humboldt Arts Festival - A Celebration of Humboldt County Art and Culture. The two day festival takes place on May 12th & 13th, and is slated to coincide with Humboldt State University’s graduation weekend. The Humboldt Arts Festival will feature a massive arts exhibit with the Humboldt Arts Project holding visual arts receptions at the Robert Goodman Winery, Humbrews, Om Shala and the Jambalaya. The Humboldt Arts Festival will be showcasing a wide range of art including photography, painting, drawing, installation and an outdoor sculpture garden. There will be multiple stages featuring more than fifty music and dance performances throughout the two day event. Confirmed acts include Woven Roots, The Trouble, Berel Alexander, Samba da’ Alegria, a special fire performance by a collaboration of troupes like Humboldt Circus, Irie Fire, Nightshade Serenade, Aerial Dance Circus, Chakra Nation, and Circus of the Elements. West African Dance by CADA, Belly Dancing by the Yahabibi Dance Company, New World Ballet & much more. In addition to the venues and entertainment the Humboldt Arts Festival will be hosting Humboldt County’s best Arts and Crafts vendors. Delicious food and drink including beer and wine will be provided by local businesses
